Music has been part of Tinky Pringle’s life for as long as she can remember.

Her broadcasting journey began in the record library of the Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation, a dream start for someone whose greatest passion has always been music.

That passion would eventually take her to South Africa, where she joined SABC English Radio before moving into television and unexpectedly finding herself behind the news desk. Although she enjoyed the world of television and news and sport, music continued to call her back. It was that love of radio and connection with listeners that led her to LM Radio, where she spent eight memorable years alongside some of the station’s most familiar voices.

Today, Tinky brings that same warmth, experience and love of music to Eden Radio. She believes radio is at its best when it feels personal, familiar and welcoming, a place where great music and good company come together. When she’s not behind the microphone, Tinky also works as a voice artist, continuing a lifelong love affair with broadcasting in all its forms.
